Wednesday October 11th 2017 dawned wet and windy, but that didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the 300 plus children from schools around the Roscommon town/Creggs Rugby Club area. They attended a Touch Rugby jamboree at Donamon Castle. Our boys teams played games against Fuerty NS and St Coman’s Wood Primary School, while the girls’ team played the self same schools in their group. Despite having never played rugby before, both our teams enjoyed the experience, and got down and dirty – easy knowing they weren’t the ones washing the jerseys! Here are some photos from the day.
