Co Roscommon Primary Schools’ Basketball Competition 2023

On Friday, March 24th, we boarded the bus and travelled in to The Hub in Castlerea to play in the Basketball competitions. Our boys team had 4 games. They won their first 2 games, against Tulsk and Ballymurray, but were beaten by both St Paul’s Castlerea, and Knockcroghery – the last one only on a free throw after the final buzzer – great drama!

Our girls played three games, beating Ballymurray and Tulsk, but losing to a very strong Boyle team. Despite this, we had a great time and were very proud of how we did.
