FAI Schools SPAR 5 a side competition
This year, we entered 2 boys teams and 2 girls teams in the above competition. We played our qualifying blitzes in Lisnamult on March 9th. One of each was successful, winning through to the Roscommon County final. This was played in Shiven on Wed April 6th, on possibly the wettest, coldest day of the year. Our girls acquitted themselves admirably, winning 2 of their 4 games ,while our boys team made it all the way to the final, losing to near neighbours, Creggs. It was a great journey, but one with an unfortunate ending.
