Active School Week 2022 – Tuesday

Tuesday morning dawned bright, dry and sunny. We packed off for school with out yoga mats, because Helen was coming to do some Pilates with us for ASW. We all tried to stretch, flex, balance and meditate….with varying degrees of success. Maybe we need more practice?????

Also in school today, was Tim the Tennis Man, ably assisted by Ethan. This was a brand new venture for us, and very enjoyable. If only we had more time at it, we could qualify for Wimbledon! Can’t wait for tomorrow to see what we’ll be doing, maybe some mountaineering? Or some deep sea diving? Probably not!

See below for the evidence of our brilliance at these activities.

Added to all this exercise and activity, was the boys hurling team who played a semi final against Ballymurray to see who would make it to the A final. In spite of their best efforts, they lost out, but at least they will get a chance to win the B final. Hard luck lads, and best of luck in the final next week. And while they were gone playing hurling, the rest of us went on a walk around the block….. except the Infants who could only do a short walk because they had to be back in time to go home at 2:00.
