ASW 2024 Day 3 Wednesday

After the wet days early in the week, Wednesday was nice and fine. We had camogie and hurling training with Michael Hussey, and Sharlene from the Sports Partnership doing games and dance. These took place in the morning, while after lunch, we had the school walk “around the block.” Unfortunately, the 5th & 6th class girls had to cut their walk short, as they had to go to Castlerea for their basketball semi final against Rooskey. Despite an heroic performance, they lost out narrowly, by just one point. Tears and heartache were quickly replaced by ice creams and smiles.
All in all, a great day was had by all.
