Active School Week – Thursday

Thursday brought us a visitor – Charlene from the Roscommon Sports Partnership, who played some games with us, held some fun races, and taught us some dance moves. In the afternoon, Mícheál Glennon came to the school and we played some tag rugby with him – and a little “unofficial” full contact rugby too!
5th and 6th classes had some alternative “active school” work, as they helped Claire Hussey in the garden, tidying up, weeding, hoeing and raking. Different muscles from those used in dancing, or rugby!
