Cumann na mBunscol Camogie Blitz – April 2023

Today, Tuesday April 25th, we played our eagerly awaited camogie blitz, which had been called off before Easter due to the weather and the unplayable pitch. But it was worth the wait, as it was a beautiful sunny day, and the pitch was in excellent condition.
We played Newtown NS, which was a lovely game, and everybody got plenty of game-time. Next up, we played Moore NS, which was a tighter affair, but again, everybody got on the pitch, and everyone played well. Our last game was against Scoil na nAingeal Naofa from Boyle, and this was a great game, which we narrowly won. once again, everybody got to play, and everybody played really well. These results mean we topped our group, and our next game will be against Taughmaconnell in the quarter final. We can’t wait!!
