On Tuesday May 17th our school camogie team played their qualifier blitz in the Cumann na mBunscol competition for this year. We had 3 games; first we played Rahara, a game we had loads of possession, and plenty of scoring chances, but just couldn’t get the scores we needed. They did, however, so we lost that one.
In our second game, we played the Convent of Mercy. They were way too strong for us, and beat us heavily. In our last game, we played our old friends Tarmon, who had also lost their first 2 games without scoring. This time, we both got some scores, and we won!!
Take a look at the players who were injured, or unable to play. If we had them, we would have been a better stronger team. Ah well, there’s always next year.
