Cumann na mBunscol Football Blitz
Friday May 13th saw our Gaelic football teams play in their Cumann na mBunscol competitions. Just like the last few years, we were in a group with Fuerty, Taughmaconnell and Tisrara. The boys beat Taughmaconnell and Tisrara, but were well beaten by Fuerty, who ran out eventual winners. In a strange twist of fate, the girls team had the exact same success, which meant that both teams were out, despite playing well. We played hard, and tried our best, and we had a great day, out in the sunshine. Maybe next year we’ll have more success!
