Drama Society Story Competition 2023

Every year, the Roscommon Drama Society run a short story competition for the local schools, which we take part in. Every school has a winner, as well as there being a 1st, 2nd and 3rd Overall prize. This year, Michael Tierney won the prize for the best story from Lisaniskey NS, with his story, “The Stolen Child.” Here he is, with his trophy and certificate, as well as his very proud father – his mother was busy reading his story somewhere else.
Well done Michael – who was following in his brother, Jack’s, footsteps. Jack won the same award when he was in 6th class. Obviously a very talented family!
