European Week of Sport-Walking Tour of European Challenge 2018

During the week beginning 24th September we celebrated the #beactive European Week of Sport by taking part in the Walking Tour of Europe Challenge. Our aim was was to walk/run the 1621km from Dublin to The Leaning Tour of Pisa in Italy. We ended up far exceeding our target by managing to visit The Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany, The Little Mermaid in Copenhagen, Denmark, and The House of Chimeras, Kiev, Ukraine. In total we completed an incredible 4930km on our tour of Europe. We really enjoyed the challenge and have continued the practice of running laps as active breaks during the day.
