Fun Games Against Knockcroghery in Rockfield

While the 3rd & 4th classes were in Creggs playing tag rugby, the boys and girls of 5th & 6th classes were playing more traditional Irish games. We hosted St Mary’s, Knockcroghery in Rockfield, and we played 4 games. The girls played Ladies’ football, followed by camogie, while the boys began with a football match, and finished with a game of hurling. Everyone had a great time, and even the weather co-operated, with the light mist drying off before we even started. And the best part of the day was when it was announced that there would be no homework!! What a perfect end to a great day. Check out how we looked.
