GAA Sports Day 17th June 2021

As part of the end of year process, and to celebrate the fact that we have done so well in the face of this extremely difficult school year, we had a GAA Sports Day in Rockfield last Thursday, spending all day there, working on our GAA skills, and generally just having fun. Even the weather co-operated!!
We had some special visitors to help the teachers – past pupils Siobhan Hoare, Cayla Lawless and Cormac Regan all added their expertise to make the day more special. In addition, we had our good friends, Ollie Lennon and Proinsias Killion, Roscommon Games Promotion Officers, to help, advise and encourage us as we played different games. But, the VIPs on Thursday were Natalie and Michael McHugh, Roscommon Senior LGFA players – Natalie is actually joint Captain – who came to join us.
