Welcome to the website for Lisaniskey National School, Donamon, Co. Roscommon. We hope this site will be of benefit and interest to our parents, pupils and the local community. We aim that, through our website, we will give you a glimpse of our busy and varied life here in Lisaniskey N.S.

Lisaniskey NS is situated roughly 12 km from Roscommon town, in the parish of Oran. The school has stood on its present site since 1969. We have four mainstream teachers, and 2 Special Education Teachers. We also have two Special Needs Assistants on our staff.

The school was extensively done up in 2005, when it was renovated to remove asbestos from the floors and ceilings. This work was added to in 2010-11when we added another classroom, due to increasing numbers. Since that work, further work has also been carried out, with an extension to replace our Learning Support prefab. It is a rural school in beautiful idyllic surroundings.
