On Tuesday April 18th, we set off for Creggs to take part in the FAI Schools 5 a side soccer competitions. We were all really excited, because this was the first time the competitions had been run in a number of years.
Our boys team were up against Clonown NS, The Don NS, and Ballinagare NS, and won two games, but lost one, thus narrowly missing out on qualifying for the next round. Our girls team played the exact same schools, and won one game, losing twice. Thus they were also knocked out. However, we had a great day, and we even got ice cream on the way back to school!!
